    Ward definitely beats Alvarez.

I wasn't certain until I watched Eleider Alvarez vs. Isaac Chilemba, but afterwards I feel pretty confident that Ward beats Alverez by UD.

Andre Ward doesn't need a tuneup. He doesn't need another soft touch. He doesn't need to work on anything.

He needs hard fights. Fight Kovalev. Fight Golovkin. If they're busy, fight Fonfara. Fight Stevenson. Fight DeGale. Fight Beterbiev. Fight Chavez Jr. Fight Lebedev.

He's supposed to be the best fighter on the planet. Fight somebody and prove it. Otherwise, don't bother. You're just wasting your and everyone else's time.

Make a deal with some top fighter and fight them. Nobody cares who their promoter is. Nobody wants to hear about how you can't work with this guy or that guy.

You're a fighter. Make a fight with a top guy and fight him.

Or just go back to announcing and shut your pie hole.

Great post. Ward is an elite boxer, he should at least try to fight the best availible lhws, and not that Brand guy or even worse that unknown Aussie. Such a shame for such a big talent

    STFU Wimp!

Chilemba and Alvarez aren't soft touches. They are both top 10 LHWs in the division.
Either of the two are better caliber of fighter than anything on Golovkin's resume.

Beterbiev and his management don't want no parts of Ward.

9 weeks out so there's still time, but if no opponent is confirmed in the next 2 weeks I'd be very concerned of a repeat of last November and Ward struggling to find a decent opponent. I suspect they will have to stump up the extra cash for Barerra otherwise they may have to s**** the March 26th date which would be a disaster and only give his critics more ammunition.
