Zurdo would be a great fight if he beats Abe and gets himself on the same level of titlist/former titlist such as Ouma, Ishiida, Geale, Lemiuex, and Murray.

Once he's become a titlist, GGG would be happy to make a fight with him.

But it's gonna be AFTER GGG unifies the WBC title and becomes undisputed MW Champion.

I really don't know why everyone wants Golovkin to move up to an unnatural weight.

He shoulda started his career like Eubyov or Provodikov and won titles at 147 then moved up to 154 and 160 where he could settle in and become the GOAT he is.:good

Ramirez has a solid task in front of him. He should wait to after the AA fight. I wouldn't be shocked if AA Ko's him.

If he beats Abraham convincingly, it will be a very big feather in his cap.
If it goes down like that, and the Golovkin fight is made, who is the underdog?

Zurdo is facing Abraham at SMW in April. Why on earth would he call out GGG now?

Why not? Especially if he is saying he'll make the fight at 160. What's there to lose for Golovkin.
Even at 168 Golovkin should take the fight. Why not. Sanchez says he KOs HWs in sparring all the time.

So he can set up a potential fight later in the year...

So we can get a good fight and not a mismatch with genna against Korobov, Lee or Tureano

If he really wants to fight GGG after AA then make him a serious and fair offer. I never really take post fight/media/social media call outs all that seriously.

If Zurdo beats AA and shows actual willing for a GGG fight then i will have a lot of respect for him. All fighters talk big and i believe most would fight anyone. However, after winning a title that is when a lot change their tune. They realise they can milk the belt and stop taking the big challenges

It doesn't matter what zurdo says bob arum has the final say on who he fights and I highly doubt arum wants to sacrifice one of his young and upcoming fighters to golovkin.

Ramirez would be his best competition up to date, so i would definitely tune in to watch that match.

Gennady and his team still don't understand how boxing works, which is surprising given the fact K2 has been around for a little while. It's admirable he wants to unify the division, but with the different networks and promotional companies, it's almost impossible to do that in boxing's current landscape.

Just think about how hard it would be to make a fight with him and a Haymon/Showtime fighter like Jacobs. If he's lucky, he'll be able to unify the division by the time he's 36. And he'll be doing so against much lesser competition compared to if he decided to move up in weight where there's much better challenges waiting for him.

I wish the MW division was more stacked because Gennady is essentially wasting away his best pro years with the hopes that the other guys in the division will come out of the woodwork to fight him. Even record paydays aren't drawing guys in (i.e. Saunders.) Him and his team are going to have to accept that he'll probably have to either move up or down in weight for him to secure a blockbuster fight. If he continues on this trajectory of beating on mid tier fighters, he'll never reach his absolute potential as a pro boxer.

Ramirez is a weight cutting light heavyweight. Kovalev is the guy he should be calling out.
