If Calzaghe/Pavlik goes ahead, where should it be held?

    neither are star attractions.

    that fight simply isn't on the same level as a calzaghe/pavlik fight.

    bradley was an unproven guy with no name, witter was the WBC title holder with some solid wins on his resume so it made perfect sense that bradley would have to travel.

    This fight won't happen unless Joe carries on fighting for at least another 2-3 years. That would be stupid as his speed and reactions would have diminshed by then and if Pavlick is still a top fighter he will have those years to get progressively better.

    Forget double standards.

    Joe Calzaghe needs for this fight to happen in Vegas, on the biggest possible stage. He needs to show the American's what he is all about, and I expect him to look really good against Kelly.

    Calzaghe can fill the stadium in UK, but for legacy he better go to US.

    I think that if Calzaghe is true to his word and this is his last fight that there is no way he fights in the US, he'll want to do a farewell in front of his crowd. As far as Pavlik is concerned, I don't see why he doesn't go over to the UK to fight in front of 70,000. Its just his kind of situation, he enjoys being the underdog and he isn't intimidated by a hostile crowd. He has only just started having the crowd on his side. Plus what young fighter wouldn't love to see what its like in front of 70,000. I think if the money is right, and the outcome of the Miranda/Abraham fight plays a huge role in this fight happening. Abraham losing leaves little big fights in the middleweight division which I think Pavlik will still go back to to try and unify the titles but he is definitely not afraid to take a trip over the pond to get a crack at Calzaghe. And what a great fight it should be.

    If you are tralking biggest stage in terms of atmosphere and attendance etc m then it has to be in the UK, if you are talking for boxing legacy and historical significance it has to be in the Garden. Vegas can go beg
