Well unless you were hiding under a rock you would have known. Everyone was talking about it at the time on here.

it wouldn't be surprising to me, he's been on the downslide for a while now, ever since Rosado busted his face up and Lemieux knocked him off balance with a single left hook

He might be hard to knock down, and nearly impossible to beat, but that does not mean he isn't easy to hit. The bloke gets tags regularly - he just has a solid chin.

It wouldn't surprise me either, because Groves can crack and he's a bigger. But even if he did, who cares? Stuff happens in sparring all the time that fans never hear about. I never put much stock into sparring rumors, because even if they're all true, I don't think it usually means much in the grand scheme.

Just because you are bigger does not mean you hit harder

Groves is actually not that good he got a lucky shot against froch and is riding of that his past fights proves this

just because a fighter catches a fighter straight on the button and knocks him down does not mean he has power

Well, I think Groves carries some respectable power. He can hit, and he is bigger than Golovkin. It's hardly the most shocking thing I'd ever heard in boxing if it's true.

But like I said, who cares? It was sparring.

it doesn't, but according to some it's the basis to make assumptions that fighter A has a glass chin/body because he was dropped in sparring :yep

The fighting son of ATG KO specialist John David Jackson was in camp with Golovkin then and he witnessed the sparring session between Groves and Golovkin.

Just like how Zab Judah knocked out Mayweather in advance to May/Pac, right? I wouldn't listen to a single word about sparring rumors unless it's been confirmed by credible witnesses.

Anyone else notice that GGG is very disrespectful to other fighters? He said Groves has no power and it was an easy sparring session, he also made fun on Monroe in the build up to his fight with Lem.
