    Cabannero:tired

"IF Robinson would inevitably KO Pavlik, then OF COURSE Floyd could too."

Robinson KO'd Middleweights OUT COLD with one shot. FACT.

    Has Floyd. No. :-(

"Pavlik would be a light-heavyweight to 50's standards. Weigh-in the day prior to the date of the bout MAKES difference. Go study basics please. "

Sorry Cabannero:nono but i have already stated that Pavlik would not be a Light-Heavyweight in the 1950's because he would have a same day weigh-in as the bout, which boxers don't get today. Back in the 50's Pavlik would weigh 160 on the scales and a few hours later he would be in the ring. I can't see him putting on that much weight on in a few hours.

Floyd does NOT hit in the same universe as Robinson, so what makes you say "If Robinson could Ko Pavlik, then Of course Floyd would too." ? That is silly. :tong

Floyd couldn't KO Baldo or Judah at 147 but he can Ko Pavlik because i believe Robinson who has fought at MIDDLEWEIGHT can?

Floyd has never fought at 160 and had one fight at 154 weighing 149 at fight time. Robinson weighed heavier for fights than Floyd so you can't compare in that regard. Plus Floyd would never fight Pavlik anyway, so you have no case.

Pavlik is not a Light-Heavy or a World linear Light-Heavyweight Champion that Maxim was, so no pavlik would not be a Light-Heavy in the 1950's and Robinson was ahead of the score cards against a LIGHT-HEAVY going into round 14.

Maxim was not a Bum, he was Undisputed Champion who had a good CV. Is Brusseles better than Maxim? Was Gatti better than Maxim? Could De la Hoya beat Maxim? Hatton? Maxim could possibly beat Pavlik, but he is just a bum to you. As i said, imagine Floyd outboxing Tarver a LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT for 13-14 rounds then get back to me. Would you favour Pavlik over a focused Tarver? :smooch

Don't forget Maxim was a 6'1" 189 pound HEAVYWEIGHT before moving down to Light-Heavyweight.

 Cabannero, i am a childish troll? Who the the **** are you? I totally owned you with every sentence.

You are just a piece of **** who thinks they know everything about boxing, then at the same time calls Maxim a bum, when he was never a bum.

Maxim is even stronger than Pavlik so don't kid yourself. He was KO'd once in his career and fought at HEAVYWEIGHT you **** stain. :rofl

There is plenty of available footage of Robinson.

This is a ridiculous post, being that this is a boxing forum and in boxing forums people put their analytical skills to use in h2h matches. Whats any different from this thread and Pac vs (insert here) thread?

Besides the fact that your a Mayweather fan, that is.

Floyd Mayweather would beat any Jr. Lightweight in history, but would be troubled by most welterweight legends and definitely would be defeated by Ray Robinson.

I believe that for HWs, the bar has been raised, mainly due to the size. Big guys like Ali, Foreman, Lewis and Wlad would have beaten all the previous HW champs. There are huge HWs before but those that reach a height of 6'4" and 220 lbs lose athleticism.

But for lower weights, not much has been improved. Floyd holds no advantage over SRR. Matter of fact, I think SRR holds the advantage in terms of durability and probbaly stamina.
