I don't see how Pavlik can win this. If he does, I really think it'd be the biggest upset of the last five years or so.

Then again, Pavlik has been picked to lose to Miranda and Taylor x2 and he's won repeatedly...can't hate a guy who knows how to win.

There is no way Pavlik can win this, 'bombs or not'.

    Not with Pavlik!!

His fans from Youngstown will travel. Expect 5000+ from Youngstown alone in AC for Lockett.

....Expect 5000+ from Youngstown... . So, what's your estimate from all of Ohio. I understand Pavlik is pretty big there. To tune down the Welsh you'll probably need a ratio of about at least 4:1.:D :good

I sure hope he gets a good turn out of fans like back in Sept. Damn, that was an amazing night!

    Were you there? I forget...

The fights not yet sold out, but getting close. I'm not sure about all of Ohio, it's a pretty big state. AC is just over 6 hours away from Y-town.

I wasn't for the first fight. I was out of town a couple days leading up to the fight.

Mogens Palle stated two weeks ago that Calzaghe Vs. Pavlik was a sure thing!

With Roy Jones fighting fighting Kessler for the WBA title if all goes according to plans!

No way does Pavlik beat Calzaghe.

Calzaghe will beat on Pavlik all night long, similarly to how he did to Lacy but given he's approaching the end of his career, perhaps slightly less brutally.

    :hi:

As much as I'd like to see this fight happen, I don't think it will right now. IMO, Calzaghe will stay at 175 now, and fight Jones. Win or Lose, he'l go down to 168 and give Pavlik a bout

That's how I see it panning out

Mogens Palle doesn't know utter ****. As proven time and time again, he almost cost Kessler the Calzaghe fight. (getting it signed)

Skill and style disadvantage?:huh It's long been understood that Joe does everything wrong and yet is still successful....Pavlik is very conventional(not many mysteries to his game)So if anyone is at a disadvantage skill or stylewise it's Joe not Kelly:deal
Props to Joe for taking a fight that will be his eventual demise...
This isn't Jeff Lacy or an old man on the verge of social security:-(
I cant wait to witness the beatdown of Joe Calzaghe, The Cardiff Ice Rink Champion:lol:
This fight supposed to be at 175?

I like how you mention Lacy and Hopkins, yet the one fighter who mirrors up completely to Pavlik, Mikkel Kessler, you kindly leave out.

Mikkel Kessler was a very conventional fighter, no real mysteries to his game either, fair to say he was stylistically challenged, beaten from every angle.

I just hope you kids don't do a Lacy on Pavlik.
