Sergey Kovalev, now 29-0-1 (26 KOs) stopped Jean Pascal inside 7 rounds after a very one-sided fight, dropping Pascal with a stiff jab in Rd 1, and brutalising him for the next 6 rounds, with Pascal barely landing anything noteworthy after Rd 4.
Question is, who would you pick in a fight with Andre Ward, who is 28-0 (15 KOs) and is set to face Sullivan Barrera in his next fight?
Let's get some discussion going, as the General Forum is full of idiotic trolls.
I'm myself leaning towards a Kovalev victory, but I think it's a fascinating fight, and not easy to pick.

I don't think its a difficult fight to judge.

Kov is quicker, bigger and the better boxer.

I don't go for this 'general forum' slick blackness blah blah blah.

Kov is so much better than anyone Ward has ever fought and is yet to be in a fight really.

The only way I see Ward winning is if he dropped the nut in like he did against Kessler and Kov gets cut badly and cannot see. But that is no way to win.

Other than that it goes like the Hopkins fight.

If Ward is 100% I fancy him to get the job done, beat Kovalev on points. Kovalev has all the momentum but Ward is the all round better boxer. Would be a good fight.

One thing I noticed yesterday was how much bigger Kovalev looked than Pascal, notably taller and with significantly longer reach. I love the way he jabs to the body, and the way he throws the lead straight right.

I rate Ward big time, but Kovalev beats him.

    Kovalev. All day.

Ward would get punished If he fought him (which he won't).

Unless Ward wants to cash out, he ducks Krusher.

Krusher would Knock Ward the fukc out.

Personally, I can't stand Ward but, there's no denying he's a very talented if wasted fighter. Problem is Krusher hurts his opponent wherever he hits you, whether that's arms, shoulders, body or head and basically just breaks his opponents up. His jab is exceptional and packs a real wallop. On top of all that, Kovalev is one nasty MOFO and I see him being at his absolute best for Ward cuz he knows he'll have to be. Only way Ward wins is by fiddling his way to a UD by head butt and favourable officiating.

froch is a strong dude and he went toe to toe with pascal. kov just played around with him twice. I think the size difference will be the telling factor. kov is just too big.

wards gonna give him lots of problems hes very awkward and adaptive but don't think he can out hustle that strength deficit.

Still makes me cringe the fact that Clev's world title defence against Kovalev was a VOLUNTARY!!!

    Sack the match maker.

Suicidal when you think about it; but Cleverly and Frank wanted HBO's interest.

Im edging towards Ward but inly just.

I think he is clever enough to stay away form the power and casue enough problems in a pretty ugly fight to nick the decision

Ward all day long for me, and i think he'll make it look fairly routine.

Kovalev will always look spectacular against static come forward fighters like Pascal, but Ward is a technician, and a tough mutha to boot.

I think Wards movement and inside fighting will shock Kovalev.
