Herbie's a dangerous opponent for anyone at cruiserweight. Unfortunately, without a #1 ranking he'll be frozen out of the title picture.
By the time Herbie jumps through any hoops to get the number 1 mandatory spot he will probably have to wait another 6-9 months for the fight to happen.... by this time Heribe will be 38 or so... unless he gets a shot besides a mandatory shot .. he will be too old to compete in a long distance fight... he needs a shot in the next year.... hope he gets it...
This is what I'm saying. The WBC did Herbie wrong. His activity and his last 2 opponents (for different reasons - May for his name and the other guy for his record) should have been enough to earn him a shot. Herbie's not a young fighter who can just sit around and wait for an opportunity. Age is not on his side.
