In his tweet Khan speaks of "the 155lbs @WBCBoxing title!” -- So he's basically confirming what we've been thinking all along. The WBC will eventually create a 155lbs division just for Canelo.

He does love twitter. I would bet, khan personally handles his tweeter account, and looks forward to that part of his "job"

Little G is free to meet Canelo's demands if he wants to test himself but he's not interested.

Maybe if little G was a career WW like Khan then he could fight at Canelo weight for the WBC Canelo belt.

Maybe if 3G would dare to make something great out of himself he would remove himself from 160 and fight at 154, 155, 164, or 168 where he has options... But instead he'll continue to sit at 160 while he, his trainer, and his fans cry and mope about 3G being the most feared man in the universe.

You got a point. Its up to GGG to make the most of himself, not cry around.

I don’t think that’s fair. The MW division was a joke ever since Martinez didn’t have knees and lost his title to Cotto. Then Cotto chose to fight and drain Geale after he had been stopped by Golovkin, which was ridiculous.

At least Canelo is taking tough fights. Khan was the top guy that people wanted to see Mayweather fight. Instead Floyd chose Berto. Now Canelo is taking this fight. He should be praised for taking such a tough fight.

I don’t think Canelo’s making a joke out of the middleweight division because thus far he isn’t draining Middleweights down to a catchweight like Cotto did. Khan is a 147-lb fighter moving up 8 lbs to meet him at 155.

There’s a big difference between what Cotto did draining Martinez and Geale to Canelo fighting Khan at 155. Khan won’t be drained coming up so I don’t see what the problem is here. It’s an exciting fight and I gotta give Canelo credit for making this fight. Canelo is fighting the guy who Floyd is ducking. At some point we just got to tip our hat to Canelo for taking tough fight after tough fight.

That sounds like they already don't. WBC doesn't recognize the 160 limit for a long while now.

Khan wont be drained? ummm so
Khan has no business fighting for a 160 title
and Canelo has no business making it at 155
complete joke all the way around....make it a non title fight then i dont see a problem.

I’d prefer to see them fight for a vacant 154-lb title to be perfectly honest with ya.
