Even though i think this could be a cherry pick gone wrong still doesnt change the fact Canelo feels khan is easy pickings

Why not go fight at full 160 and fight legit mws like david/rosado/lee/saunders/eubank?

Even if he fought willy monroe that would be a far better fight then khan willy is a legit mw who takes a far far better shot then khan and would of made canelo work for something

Instead he goes for Khan who has far less punch resistance then any of those guys

Canelo is the Lineal Middleweight World Champion. He fights who he wants. Khan is a tough competitor and an opponent that he can't overlook.
Canelo is going to bring his best, Khan is going to bring his best so tune in, May 7th, aint nobody beating Khan.

Canelo is fighting a guy he will likely outweigh by 10-12 pounds max.

You're a Cotto fan right? Cotto constantly outweighed his opponents by 10-15 pounds, once even by 17 pounds.

If anyone deserves a pass its Canelo. He has consistently fought top tier opponents. He even fought Trout after he completely took Cotto to school.

If it makes it better, look at it like a "money" fight in between many no name but very dangerous fights he taken (Lara, Trout, Angulo. Kirkland).

We can give him a pass right? I mean fighters like Cotto, Pacquiao, Golovkin and Mayweather have had there BIG share of overmatched unjustified fights...Why can't you give Canelo, a fighter who fights any style a chance to cash in on some big bucks in between dangerous foes?

Canelo won't fight Monroe , Monroe is a legitimate 160 lb middleweight therefore too dangerous , safer to pick on Welterweights :hat

This is a brilliant move by Oscar. Canelo gets to bring in millions while beating the **** out of a blown up jr welterweight. LOL. Canelo gets to look like a BOSS putting Khan on stanky leggs

If Bradley were to somehow beat Pac, expect Canelo vs Bradley next.......at you guess it, 155lbs catchweight. I don't think Canelo will ever fight in a fair fight anymore. And his fans will support him by saying he is the cash cow.

Yes and Canelo vs. Rosado, Lemieux, Rubio, Murray, Lee, Saunders, Jacobs, Quillin, Derevyanchenko, Quigley, Khytrov because at least they're goddamn Middleweights.:deal

The MW strap is a very highly sought after title. There’s really no reason why Canelo would want to vacate that title, especially with all the uncertainty at 154. There’s very little difference between Canelo defending his MW title at 155 vs defending a JMW title at 154. I think he should fight GGG at 160, but I’m fine with fighting Khan at 155.

I think we gotta let this play out. Canelo is fighting the guy that pretty much everyone wanted Mayweather to fight instead of Berto. This is going to be a good fight so I think we should all just fasten our seatbelts and get ready for a fight!

Absolutely! Couldnt agree more! Unless of course, Canelo vacates and officially moves back down to 154 where he belongs. Catch weights are nonsense.

:good I'd have even been okay with a Cotto rematch, or if he had to go with a WW go with Brook at least he's a big WW, and he beat Hatton a hell of a lot more impressively than Canelo did.
