You're embarrassing yourself little egg. Most people, including judges would believe that is better punch stats, ie the reason Vitali was dominating on the cards. Who cares how many he misses as long as he lands more? Its nice to be leading on all counts, but as often as not, the winner (ie the one who lands more) will have a lower connect percentage than the loser (ie the one who lands less). That's fairly common in all but the most imbalanced fights. Get outta here eggshell.

He had 21 extra fights, so yeah.

    It's just circumstances.

What if he hadn't have had to retire in 2004?

What if he'd have won the coin toss to face Haye first?

I usually think he just trolls, he makes crazy statements and then never tries to support them, but sometimes he actually seems genuine. It's scary.

Anyway, Loudon, don't you think Vitali's dominance and fewer losses cuts strong against Wlad's greater raw number of wins re legacy?

    Stop saying he stopped Vitali.

    It just looks ridiculous.

    He did not stop Vitali.

Vitali withdrew and Byrd was AWARDED a TKO win.

It's like saying that Montell Griffin beat a prime Roy Jones. Officially, yes, but not in reality.

That's a lot of 'what ifs'

    I'm focusing on the reality

I appreciate where you are coming from. But look at the punch stats. Look at the injury vitali suffered as a consequence.

Chris byrds craft in the ring caused the injury. His defence broke vitali down. Just as legitimate a stoppage as lennox's tko in my eyes

Which of Wlad's opponents would have stopped Vitali when he was fully fit?

If Vitali had fought the same amount of fights as Wlad, Wlad would have been in the shade.

Once again hypothetical. We are talking the real life resumes of wlad an vitali. And there is no way in reality you can make a case for it being better than wlads

I don't need to view the stats, I watched the fight about 5 months ago.

Pulev would have won against Vitali. He has the size and the right tools to exploit Vitalis hole.

Yes, and in my opinion, Vitali's retirements due to injury have enhanced Wlad's all time ranking.

If Vitali hadn't have retired in 2004, Wlad wouldn't have been classed as the best HW of the last 10 years.

    Again, it's just circumstances.

You could imagine how things may have looked had Vitali had fought almost 70 times.

You know what my motto is:

    "Statistics never allow for circumstances."

We can make an educated guess.

Wlad only has the numbers in his favour.
