Dong talk rubbish you tart. Notice you ignored the actual content of my post. That'll be because you know Carl ducked Rigo multiple times.
good to se him over here, with the winner of Quigg/Frampton looking to fight him, its good that hes coming over. Good signs that fight can get made over here.
I think if quigg did lose to frampton fighting rigo would be a good way back. He wouldn't have anything to lose and rigo would go for it regardless of belts on the line. If he's willing to fight a 10 rounder against jazza..... However I don't think frampton would fight rigo if he wins he would vacate the wba so potentially quigg could fight rigo for the wba even if he lost. Unfortunately because rigo generates little cash I see quigg beating frampton and then dropping the wba as a frampton rematch would pay much more money. Guess we'll have to wait and see
Really don't see the problem with Rigo coming over and facing Jazza. In the same way that we don't have a problem with British fighters taking on lesser opposition in Mexico/USA to build their rep over there. Rigo isn't travelling all this way for Jazza ****ens. He's coming to build his profile in the UK for a showdown with Frampton/Quigg.
Masterstroke from Rigo. he will make himself look vulnerable whilst beating jazza and tempt the winner of quigg/Frampton.
****ens struggled badly with Josh Wale and lost to Ward imo, I don't understand why he would want to box Rigo unless the money is life changing or a world title is on the line? This will last longer than the few rounds many are predicting and I honestly believe we will see Quigg/Frampton against Rigo this year.
If it's a showcase fight then I'd rather they'd used established gatekeepers than fighters like ****ens. However, Kudos to Jazza for taking the fight- it really is a no lose situation for him. Shaping up to be a decent card in March for Frank.
I'm happy to see Rigo over here, that's not what I am saying but to take on a guy that hasn't really made it past British level yet so I really don't see the point of the fight for Rigo as he could get a world level fighter over to actually get some interest in the fight. I'm not faulting Rigo in this necessarily as I know there is trouble for him to make fights, however for the right money you would get plenty of good fighters willing to take him on. Also the Quigg/ Frampton fights will never happen as Rigo appears to way overvalue himself in negotiations as yes he is a great fighter but when you don't sell many tickets yourself its difficult to really try and command much of the purse when the other fighter is doing most of the selling.
Rigo can be very tedious. But..... Styles-make-fights! Jazza is too open. He will get cut down by Rigos pinpoint shots while swinging and missing wildly.
Spot on. He's using this fight as a shop window. I wonder if he'll have to change out of his civvies to get the lopsided points victory?
