There is no way Golota wins this fight. Golota would be pelted with quick punches and confused by Ali's handspeed. He would not hurt Ali sufficiently to win and therefore would be either stopped after 6th round or beaten convincingly on points. He may attempt to foul Ali and get DQ'd if he got too frustrated.

Ali would stop him with five. Golota beat a prime Bowe? No sir. Bowe was pretty much done. He has had so many title chances and I believe he beat Byrd, but he got robbed. He is a very popular fighter. I was at the Golota vs Byrd fight and wow, I thought I was in Poland. They are very emotional people win it comes to sports.

Golota would KO Ali in 5 with a left hook, probably hitting Muhammad's knee-caps.

Those who pick Golota should be banned.

Ali by TKO in 7, and up to then, it's not even close (I'm talking Cassius Clay, with foot speed unmatched to this day in the heavyweight scene).

Funny funny stuff. Get off the drugs my friend. A more realistic poll would have been Bugner or Golota over 12 & I still would pick Bugner.

Thanks for thanking my suggestion for this fantasy matchup, MM!:!:

I've given it some thought & here goes...

From the looks of the voting, way too many misinformed people assume Ali wins simply because of his self-proclaimed title, The Greatest. But lets be realistic & take a closer look. Truth is:

    >If Joe Frazier could make his jaw the size of a watermelon & put him on his back...

    >If Ken Norton could break his jaw...

    >If Big George could force him to rope-a-dope for half a fight...

    >If Jimmy Young could outbox him badly...

    >If Earnie Shavers could rock his kin-folk back in Africa...

    >If Wepner was even able to get his attention...

    >If Michael Spinks could beat him from pillar to post...

Point is, Ali was overrated & handed many gift decisions & if the above mentioned fighters could have success against him, I think Golota puts up one hell of a fight & gives him all he can handle & more.
Are we to assume Ali is the HW Champ is this fight? If thats the case & Golota doesn't manage to KO/TKO him, then Ali is handed a SD victory. Golota is robbed. Again.

But I still feel Golota could force the issue due to his bute size advantage & with his skills, theres a very good chance of a stoppage win for Andy!

We're not taking C. Clay here. We're talking 1971. After the layoff. The Ali who was dropped like a sack of potatoes against a small Joe Frazier.

Visualize alittle for us...in what manner? One shot or an accumulation of punishment?

Sounds like you didn't read by post, how I explained about all those fighters than put him through hell.

Golota would have a damn good chance to make him blink...don't deney it.

Accumulation of punishment. Ali was prone to getting hit against bigger fighters, and he doesn't have the punching power to disrupt Andrew's game, let alone the style to stop him. If Ali sells out offensively, which I envision him doing because of his pride, he'd be getting hit too much- Golota would be doing more damage and would land the more telling shots. If Ali runs, jabs, and clinches non-stop he would win a decision; but I feel like picking against Ali today.
