It is Kovalev that HBO wants Ward to fight, but Ward does not want the fight. Ward was a light heavyweight as an amateur and should fight at his natural weight, but instead he wants to fight a middleweight.................to be honest, I think Golovkin would beat Ward, but Golovkin wants to unify the titles and I don't blame him. Notice that Ward fans do not mention his fighting Kovalev. Roach said that Kovalev would knock Ward out. Hunter is not a good trainer, he made a mess of Khan and many others.............

 

Yeah, Ward has bigger things to worry about than a guy two weightclasses down. This should be his list of priorities:

1) Figure out how to dodge Kovalev without looking bad
2) Figure out how to dodge Kovalev
3) Figure out how to eat through a straw
