I think he's a little wild ,you overrate his power and boxing skills. He was easily outboxed by some limey guy in olympics quarter finals. I am not impressed with him and this comes from lithuanian

And Brewer was not out boxing him at all the first round was close and competitive and then Kavialauskas bombed him out not long into the second round. And I think the reason he did so had more to do with his power than Brewer's chin.

I'm not completely sold on Kavialauskas and he still has to prove he can take it as well as he can dish it out for one. However, he can certainly dish it out and he definitely packs some nice power in both hands.

that 'some limey guy' is Fred Evans a very talented guy. Olympic Silver medalist & European Gold medalist. But Kavialiaskas ACTUALLY Knocked out Evans previously in brutal fashion at the World Championships.. the video is on youtube.

The first was clearly Egid's. You could already tell Prenice was about to get knocked out. He was stunned badly just before the bell.

it was a close first round then the Lithuanian hurt him at the end to win the round, then destroyed him in the 2nd.

I really don't see the point in mentioning if a 1st round was close when in the next round someone gets knocked out!

I felt it was close. There was a couple of instances in the first round where I heard a shot land but I wasn't sure who landed it because of the angle of the camera. To suggest that Brewer was out boxing him is incorrect though. It was a little bit of a tricky style for Egid but he got the job done quickly. That's a good performance no matter how you swing it.

I agree with what someone said on youtube 'If you know how egis is fighting you would admit that first round he watches what opponent brings, the next rounds are all about punishing'

It's true he susses them out early on before quickly destroying them, Sergiy Derevyanchenko does similar.

lol Spence takes this guy apart. With those wide punches and lack of defense, I doubt he will even get to Spence.

    haha
Kavialauskas was a much better amateur, and watch some more of his pro fights he's a better pro too! Spence is too slow... plus how's he gonna cope with Egis' power? not many will be able to go the distance with him, Spence better have a Provodnikov chin or it's goodnight Vienna!

Because he's beaten better opposition than Egid and in fairly impressive fashion, he didn't look great against Mayfield, but Mayfield tends to make people look bad, but even then he managed to look better against Karim than anyone who's ever faced him.
