Holyfield got stopped by a fat middleweight..see that was past prime Holyfield. Wlad got stopped by Sanders and Brewster..that was pre-prime Wlad. The only thing that counts is primetime and prime Holyfield gets stopped by prime Wlad.
the only way u can possibly argue that wlad was pre-prime against those nobodies who wiped his face out easily, is that wlad has learning difficulties such that, at an age when all the other hws peak, wlad was left behind in school because he was such a slow developer. why would you try to claim such a thing?
Wlad turned his career around after his losses and became a completely different fighter. Did you miss that?
who did he beat afterwards? cos I think what you missed is that he faced steadily weaker opposition and ontroduced some severe cheating when he couldn't avoid someone semidecent, but credit for some partial unifying while it lasted. pov and haye are at least 2 good defences.
Prime Lennox Lewis, a clearly better heavy than Wlad, couldn't stop past it Holyfield, and Lewis is close to Wlad in size. So, no way on God's green earth is Wlad stopping Holy in their respective primes. Wlad might win, someone else said Wlad 60/40, but it's most certainly not going to be easy.
Absurd. Holyfield was like 100 boxing years old. Beating the tar out of an old geezer means nothing. Hell, he might have killed him. Does anybody give Holmes credit for whipping ancient Ali? :nut
