and for thise picking Tua that haven't watched this fight ^ please do. You'll be bitterly dissapointed with how ordinary Tua and Wooden look.
Wooden was a point I made as well. Tua was easily out boxed by an average fringe contender. He was nearly out boxed by Oleg and Izon, which is just awful for a supposed killer puncher that is being picked to KO one of the great switch hitters.
If Douglas never got up from Tysons uppercut and Tyson got the win Should we then ignore the fact that he was thoroughly outboxed for the other 99% of the fight?
Yes, just like walcott vs marciano 1. Anyway tyson looked **** in tokyo is irrelevant what douglas did, it was tyson alone who exposed himself
Troll me? Because i say what i think in every moment? A better definition of troll is a piece of **** like you who insulted the family of another pĆ³ster.( cowardly when you know that he cant kick your ass of **** from internet)
:good I know Ike is a bit of enigma, we'll never know how good or bad he was, but he fought Tua's fight and still managed to get the decision
Tua is getting criminally underrated here. He was not 'unskilled', he was actually very skilled with elite technique and a tight defense but he was very short with short arms. He is also very explosive, ie quick. His workrate though was questionable Now Walcott with all his skill and slight advantages in height/reach could outbox Tua but if he makes any mistakes Walcott's low hands make the chance of a Tua KO reasonably high. Comparisons with Byrd are off base as Walcott isn't as durable as Byrd. So it could go either way. Goto youtube and watch Tuas KO wins and come back and say he couldn't take out a man who wasn't much taller who kept his gloves held low He's a much bigger puncher than Louis or Marciano.
Moorer is a 6'2 guy who drained to make LHW as a young man, Charles made MW as a young man. Moorer is naturally much bigger
He's a much bigger puncher than Louis or Marciano.[/QUOTE] The problem would be that not one of those KOs would be against somebody ranked in the top ten. Tua’s early record is among the most impressive that I have ever seen, but when he started fighting top ten opposition, he abruptly hit a brick wall. I am a bit surprised by this, but it is what happened. Can you see why I am picking Walcott if you put a gun to my head?
He beat plenty of champions and top contenders. Champions Moorer Ruiz Rahman Maskeev Top Contenders Ibeabuchi - could of gone either way against the heir apparent Oquendo (deserved wins over Byrd, Toney and Holyfield in case you didn't know he was) Gatekeepers to top 10 Izon Sullivan A good case for a better resume than Walcott......not that Walcott can't win.
