Hughie has some sort of blood disorder that put him out of action and in hospital for a while. I'm pretty sure those spots are a result of that disorder.

 

The HF spots are a bit suspicious but he is not putting on much muscle is he. Joshua on the other hand, a Brazilian rat is clean by comparison.

Acne has been around for a lot longer than steroids.
