Ward could fight in Michigan Stadium, and sell 130K, standing room only.

He'd just have to sell the tickets at a slightly reduced price.

No doubt he'd break all previous attendance records, and he could drag Ricardo Mayorga back, and maybe get a WealthTV PPV deal like SSM did.

Andre would have very likely sell out a 100,000 stadium, if he were British and not America.
He can't achieve this in America simply because Americans don't support boxing to this extent.

If Ward were British and had the British Boxing fans behind him (and they would be) he could possibly exceed the sell out crowds that Froch, Groves, or any other British fighter have achieved in the UK.
Why?
Because he would be a British top boxer who proved himself by beating Froch, Groves, Abraham, and possibly, Calzaghe, making him Britain's top boxer.

He would have been a British boxer who won the Super 6 tournament which would have been a great honour for British fans.
British fans would probably names streets, buildings and babies after Andre Ward and take great pride in having the #2 P4P boxer in the world.
The Queen would name him Duke Ward.

If Ward were British, there is no doubt the boxing friendly British fans would have been 110% behind him and he too would sell out 100,000 stadiums packed with a mob of Ale guzzling drunken British fans.

Can Ward sell out this same number of fans in the US?
No way. American fans just aren't the same as in the UK.

 

I'm not sure any American boxer could sell out a 80,000 capacity stadium, let alone the media unfriendly Ward.

The market in the US is very different, the big fights happen in Vegas so any fight that was even big enough would likely get drawn by the money to a smaller venue in Vegas.
