Joe would get respect for beating the man at 160. It's only 8 pounds north and for the linea 168. RJJ presents nothing.

Pavlik is big, young, undefeated and has fought at super mid!

Best of all Pavlik comes to fight like a real warrior. This is great for Joe because he loves a tear up. Expect some serious leather trading.

In the end Joes got the beard and speed to see it through to a UD!!!

This fight gets me pumped. RJJ is just a **** fight.

RJJ is a difficult match up for NOTHING!

How about this? If Joe wants Pavlik so bad, I guess that means he doesn't have much faith that his stable-mate Lockett will win against Pavlik, does it?

Well, the actions have been there.

Lately they've included Lacy, Kessler, BHop .

All fights many said he'd never take.



Right now, Joe would destroy him, but Joe's clock is ticking.

And Kelly continues to improve.



Even a year hence, we might see things reversed.

Man, Calzague vs Pavlik would be a great fight, together with Mayweather vs Cotto, the best one that could be made today.

I really hope it happens.

It seems Calzague has not agreed to fight Roy yet because he is waiting to see if he can make the Pavlik fight before. The time for him to take this fight is now and he seems to know it.

I'm not sure if Pavlik style suits Calzague well, in fact, I believe Pavlik may be the biggest threat today to Joe, and the fact that he is after it just shows who he really is.

Imagine what a great way to end a career with a win over Pavlik and another over Roy Jr.
