Scott's lucky win over Kiko resuscitated a fight that was dying on its feet as Carl surged ahead. One punch. One win...and suddenly Hearn/sky were able to turn a dead duck into a cash cow. Amazing innit.
Now we have a perception among the silly element of British boxing fans that this is a 50-50 fight! By tapping into a well of British fans jingoism, nationalism...and plain stupidity....Eddie will be on a nice little earner.

We now have the very ordinary, plodding Quigg being marketed as a real threat to Frampton....and people are buying it...literally!
Let me be the first to admit that I will be one of those shelling out. But I'm realistic about what I'll be getting for my money - a tour-de-force powerhouse performance from Frampton, not a great night for the very limited Quigg.

    It's a funny old world!

i think if frampton fights on emotion.. it will be close

if he boxes smartly it will be a wide 118-110 kind of fight and the casuals will moan their heads off about it being dull

If Quigg can land a few jabs to Frampton's chin..those 10-8 Quigg rounds could make it really interesting!

  4. Len, I hope you commit suicide if Carl loses.

Hearn is great at exploiting a gullible audience. He packages fools gold and passes it off as nuggets!
We have seen this before. Remember Cslzaghe v Lacey ..also remember how we were sold ..Sturm v Barker as a super fight with barker as favourite??? Remember that? Hmmmmmm?????
The question now is what will Quigg be....a Lacey - comprehensively outboxed and exposed....or a barker..squashed brutally!!!!

Len Calzaghe v Lacy was a FW promotion and was on ITV.

At least on free to air tv.

Unlike some of the stacked cards on SKY

You've lost the thread by comparing it to Calzaghe vs Lacy. No explanation needed. That is all.

I don't actually think this PPV will sell well. Agree that it will be a convincing win for The Jackall.
