Everything indicates that the next opponent of Adonis Stevenson will Andrzej Fonfara. This was said RDS President of GYM, Yvon Michel, Monday. If all goes as planned, the fight would take place in May or June. So it would be a rematch for Fonfara, Stevenson defeated by unanimous decision in May 2014. The Quebec boxer is currently world champion heavyweight WBC.
Fonfara or Alvarez would be good fights. Id prefer Alvarez, simply because, outside of a couple of good round near the end for Fonfara, it actually wasn't that close. Im not big on rematches unless the first fight is A) Controversial B) An utter classic

Sure what the hell. Fonfara is a stiffer test that Alvarez any day of the week, I've yet to see anything in Eleider that tells me he'd be even a remote threat to Stevenson.
Other than the fact Fonfara had Stevenson on the canvas late and it was one hell of a fight...no reason at all.

Fonfara needs to come to the UK, be properly drug tested and give Cleverly a rematch. Stevenson needs to be shot in his hideous rodent like face and fed to the pigs.
Awesome fight and Fonfara deserves the rematch. It's funny to see the level of opponents Fonfara has faced since their 1st fight and then look at who Stevenson has faced since then.. I'm looking to attend this live and see Fonfara lift his hand up as new champ. Fonfara has the heart to pull it off.
