The fact that he's undefeated goes all long way towards his popularity. Throw in the dominant KOs.

However, time is NOT on his side. If he loses a fight, the air will get sucked out of the GGG balloon overnight. Who will care to go see his fights then? Right now, GGG has this aura of invincibility and greatness, so the people line up in droves. If he were to lose, his star power would fade rapidly.

Not saying he would fade to Charlo or Lara level, but probably in the Bradley level draw.

Unlike pacquio who had losses early in his career which were forgetten due to his lengthy and dominant run, GGG wouldn't have time to rebuilt.

Unless GGG loses to a Lara type and then says F it I'll move up and fight the toughest opponents at 168. Maybe then??? But casual boxing fans are fickle and dump a fighter real easy. Broner went from contention to meh

If you payed any attention at all or followed the sport, you would know that GGG is more dedicated to the sport than Broner is.
Broner falling off is Broner's fault and it has nothing to do with the Maidana loss. Broner got exposed by Ponce and Fernando Quintero already.
He talked a lot of ignorant sh*t and that's what these idiots love so they thought he was better than he really is.

"MUH GG N SHEEEIT U NO WAT IMSANE!"
    GGG is fighting.
Broner is wasting money on his homeboys rap album:rofl
Broner should've had 2 losses(Ponce and Quintero) before the Maidana fight.
GGG has never even been knocked into the ropes.
None of your ignorant street animal sh*t will change that.
You thought Broner was the next Floyd because he was dumb and talked a bunch of sh*t and used the shoulder roll. You need to find a new father figure:rofl

Broners ***** are huge. He has looked for the best challenges in boxing.
Who could forget his amazing title run that has had him cemented in history as a 4 time world champion in 4 weight classes.

First fight was fro a vacant title, but that doesn't mean anything when he had to beat the ATG Vicente Martín Rodríguez.

Then he does the craziest thing and moves up to face future HOF'er Antonia DeMarco for his second title.

He doesn't stop there though! This time he moves up TWO weightclasses to secure his greatest win yet against hard hitting Pauli Malignaggi.

Broner then, after deciding the competition at WW was nothing but bloated lightweights and that they posed little threat, he moved back down and secured his ATG status after doing what few other boxers in history has done thats become a four division world champion after beating the underrated future KO artist, Khabib Allakhverdiev.

    History will never forget Broner.

Broner is a fraud and has no *****, the Maidana fight was more of a backfire than a legitimate seek for a great challenge. Broner was expected to win it.

Look how he fought against Porter. He fought like a *****. Not to mention that he tried to drain him as well.

Broner is a bad example. Very bad. His drawing power was based on trash talk and tough talk. And all that blew up in his face.

    Who the hell is Broner?

I'm checking the pound for pound ratings on multiple sites and not seeing any mention of this guy.

I'm a big GGG fan. I'm going to his third fight. I bought his PPV. Just speaking boxing economics as economics is one of my hobbies. Isn't it true? One loss changes his drawing power? It's not like he has a solid ethnic fan base that will support him through tough times like Canelo or Chavez jr.

GGG is riding a tyson type run. The unstoppable machine. The KO streak. The avoided fighter. I just want to see him in a tough fight.
