this fight has been agreed as an ibf final eliminator, if joshua can win which of these 2 would you rather see win so they can face joshua later this year? we all know th ibf like their mandatories :good i would prefer joseph parker, he is big, hits hard and it could be an absolute war between him and joshua. it could maybe be a heavyweight version of hagler vs hearns :hey who would you like to win and go on to face joshua
The Parker fight is more exciting if you ask me, even though I think he's a little overrated. He is welcome to prove me wrong by smashing up Takam though
Takam is a handful, that's for sure. No idea how good Parker is though. Haven't seen him. Takam woulda been a good learning fight for AJ.
Make or break time for Parker. We'll now see exactly what he's got to offer. This, Joshua vs Martin and Wilder vs Povetkin if that ever happens are the fights the HW division has been crying out for. Fights between actual contenders.
Takam is a really, really tough man. His fight with Sasha Povetkin was epic, but Povetkin absolutely cleaned him out with a peach of a left-hook. I don't know if Takam can be the same after that beating, it really was brutal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkfF3ieoZbI
GREAT FIGHT! Takam catches povetkin with a nasty uppercut in the 3rd and you can see povetkins team looking worried
David Haye said he had Takam over for sparring before the Chisora fight. Said he's a better fighter and harder hitter than Chisora
Povetkin is an absolute beast, criminally underrated heavyweight. He would/will annihilate Wilder/AJ/Haye. But on topic, Takam is a good test for JP, and I'm happy with it as a step-up.
Parker does look a little crude at times, but this boy can most certainly bang, seems to have a reasonable beard on him as well.
