'P4P' is subjective but the magazines had him just behind Whitaker, Toney, Jones and Chavez, and ahead of Felix Trinidad and Kevin Kelley etc. Julian Jackson was a magazine 'P4P' star when McClellan beat him, and the three one-round WBC defenses were a bit frightening (consider what a hard time Baptist gave Hopkins over 12 rounds). His earlier performances against Williams (first guy to knock him down and win every round) and Mugabi were unbelievable. So yeah, he was a serious, serious talent with hideously heavy hands and I felt he would've gone on and steamrolled all of them at multiple weights (Jones, Toney, Virgil Hill etc).
