Broken jaw for Quigg caused by an uppercut in r4. Confirmed by Eddie.

Fair play to him for fighting on if that's the case, I know he said his jaw had gone in the post fight interview but seemed ok. Hopefully isn't too bad.

Yep, credit due there for suffering an injury like that relatively early on.

He said that after the fight, but he didn't sound like there was any damage.

Could see the left side of his face was causing him a little discomfort in the post fight interview.

  8. At least Quigg didn't do a ricky burns and blame the poor performance on the broken jaw and went out like a warrior on his feet, instead of getting balled by Beltran and stealing a decision.

Jesus that's a terrible break. To fight to a split decision with an injury like that shows courage way beyond most people's imagination.

Does this say anything about Frampton's power, or did he just get caught with his mouth open or something?

If Frampton was as hard a hitter as some people make out you think he would have been able to stop Quigg especially with a broken jaw.

Now i aint a doctor by any means but i have had a serious jaw break before. But that xray looks like a very serious break and its hard to believe that its genuine xray cos im of the thinking that the swelling would be huge from that and his talking would be really affected.

Regardless of that i wish quigg all the best and hope to see him back soon

    Round four?

Still doesn't explain why he was so s**t up to that point.

    Shocking performance from Quigg.

    Possible blame for Gallagher.

Quigg rallied well in the latter rounds but the fight was already gone.

Frampton did just enough to win the early rounds survived the inevitable onslaught and finished strong enough to nick the last round.

Very poor fight overall it has to be said.

Bull****. Quigg seemed and talked absolutely fine in the post-fight press conference (well, by his usual standards at least). This is David Haye toe nonsense.
