Speaking of cheaters, did rabbit-punching Sam ever get caught taking steroids? Kicked out of the 1996 Olympics, maybe?

Oh wait, there is a certain fighter who did.

    FACT:
Neither Klitschko has tested positive for Steriods since they turned pro.

    FACT:
Toney has tested positive for steriods twice since becoming a pro HW.

I'm not talking about James Toney. I'm talking about Scam Cheater and Brittley Quitschko.

How much of a slap to Peter's face is it, that Vitali don't feel he needs a tuneup fight in order to face Peter? After being out for what will be nearly four years, come fight time, and having underwent three surgeries since his Williams fight..........Vitali is still confident that he don't need a tuneup to face Peter at 28 years old, brimming with confidence and having just had a July stay sharp fight (Golota).

Cold, inactive, and coming off the operating table, three times over, and he is still sure he can thrash Peter, right out of the gate with no tuneup.......

Talk about not thinking anything of your opponent! I LOVE it!

And fact is, he probably can, as we'll see in October.

Vitali Klitschko is one of the most devastating and powerful heavyweights of this modern era. Most seem to forget that fact, since his reputation has been diminished by his inactivity. When he fights, someone is getting the hell beat out of them, period. Never been taken off his feet, never been behind on the cards, and has one of the highest KO percentages in heavyweight history. Has only suffered two losses- one due to shoulder injury and facial cuts. Never beaten any other way, and has only had very few fights go the distance. When Vitali fights, the judges can go out to the hall and have a smoke, cause they are seldom needed. LOL

WHO NEX you say? Looks like YOU are nex, Sammy, my good man! LOL

It'll be a bigger slap to Peter's face when Brittley pulls out again.

Hopefully Sam's team negotiated some sort of insurance policy if and when Brittley pulls out with a broken fingernail.

That would maybe be good argument if someone would have compared Vitali to Toney.

Every time someone mentions Vitalis steroid history you drag Toney in to it. And try to explain it like it makes Vitalis steroid use more acceptable. :?

Peter haven’t tested positive and Vitali have.

Proven steroid user vs. Peter. What James Toney have done isn’t important.

Also in my opinion testing positive in amateur days, is not any more acceptable than testing positive in 38 years old after a serious injury.

    Abstract:

Blood doping has become an integral part of sports and fair play. It enhances your performance by increasing red blood cell mass and thereby delivering more oxygen to muscle (#2). This manipulation has gained notoriety in the sports world for what it can do for an athlete during endurance events. Special concern has been expressed that the cardiovascular system of an athlete undergoing this procedure could be in jeopardy.

    What is Blood Doping?

Blood doping, often called induced erythrocythemia, is the intravenous infusion of blood to produce an increase in the blood’s oxygen carrying capacity (#10).

The blood is then centrifuged and the plasma components are immediately reinfused while the remaining red blood cells are placed in cold storage (#7).

If done correctly, this process can increase the hemoglobin level and RBC count by up to 20%.

    Problems and Side Effects:

It is also possible that blood doping could have effects opposite to those intended. A large infusion of red blood cells (and resulting increase in cellular concentration) could increase blood viscosity and bring about a

, a decrease in blood flow velocity, and a reduction in peripheral oxygen content – all of which would reduce aerobic capacity (#7). The human heart was not designed to pump this thickened blood throughout the body and, therefore, could lead to a multitude of problems. Some of the problems that can arise from an autologous blood transfusion are phlebitis, septicemia, hyperviscosity syndrome (including intravascular clotting, heart failure and potential death), bacterial infections, and air/clot embolisms (#4). Even more frightening is the list of diseases that can be contracted through homologous transfusions.

Vitali, no matter how long the lay-off is no Oleg. This going to be a great fight and I don't think Vit's tank will be running on empty.
37 isn't that old in today's world. Peter will be pounded and punched into oblivion.
    Finally, Pete meets his maker.

It's been awhile since I seen you post Mindspring, where you been?

While we agree on one thing, the fact that it will be exciting fight while it lasts, but I dont see Peter getting pounded into oblivion, it will be give and take through the first 5 or 6 rounds and then Vitali will start to break down after that, the accumulation of punches will start to really have it's effect on old Vitali, look for Peter to finish him in the 6th or 7th.
