Conor will show to be just an average fighter now. This guy should be proud of what he pulled off though. To be a multimillionaire as an average fighter is quite an accomplishment. MMA has tendencies of over rating people. When you look up over rated in the dictionary their will be a pictured of Conor McGregor. Time to duck the 145 pound midget Edgar now.

McGregor is an amazing striker, but that's not enough. Both main event fights tonight were won by the better rounded fighter, not the superior strikers.

Connor is exactly like Haye. He loads up and is basically off balance after every shot he throws. However he either lands and hurts his opponent, uses his athleticism to get back into position or misses and gasses.

Dont even attempt to compare the two:patsch

A guy who fights anyone and is humble when he loses and a guy who pulls out of nearly every fight he is scheduled for and blames his losses on his little toe.

Connor's striking is nothing like Hayes either....stick to boxing.

Connor's striking is exactly like Hayes. Loaded up swings that are executed through athleticism but a very poor understanding of mechanics.

Once Haye got paid he did become a bit of a *****. Check my posts and you'll see I called that for a long time. However, pre-money Haye would fight anyone.

Haye STILL hasn't had 30 fights and his record speaks for itself.

MMA is not boxing. Kicking and defending takedowns drains energy faster than you think. And they go 5 minute rounds... not 3.

My take on why CM is gassing at 170.

He is not a 170 lb fighter. To get the added bulk CM can't train as hard on cardio. If he does he losses that extra mass. That added muscle just sucks the oxygen out of him.

I am curious to see if he gasses at 155 if someone can take him into the championship rnds. I don't recall seeing him gas before.

He didn't bulk up to make the weight, he had to cut down (albeit not nearly as much as he did to get to FW). He naturally walks around in the mid to high 170s. His stamina isn't very good, it just wasn't being tested much FW because the smaller guys couldn't take the power. However I do remember him slowing down a lot towards the end of his pts win vs Max Holloway.
