Very true dragged a 160 fighter up to 172, who wasn't even the best in his own family

Srs though, how everyone has convinced themselves Barrera is elite is mystifying to me. He's ok, fine, decent. Solid B level with zero inside game. He's tailor made for Ward to gauge his bullying strength against in his new division with very little risk.
It keeps escalating as the fight gets closer too. When it was announced he was alright, now he's Michael Spinks or something.

Being the best Middleweight right now is like being the best competitive eater, it sounds good but who really cares 160 suck's right now.

Seeing as you think the lofty status of best competitive eater "sounds good", I'm not sure you can expect anyone to take your opinion seriously.

Of the Smith fight (at a CW), Ward said "Carl Froch wasn't available (no ****) and Paul Smith was next best option".

If GGG had said something along those lines, what would your stance have been? :think

How does one turn down a non existent offer? Is it by making an offer? You know, like what happened.

Anything to claim your the "best" at something, same applies GGG and his fans run around claiming hes ducked, while making excuses for why he can't fight certain better names, all while continuously side stepping his WBC Title shot.

So if this is true, why are people on here saying GGG ducked Ward? And wasn't there some contractual barriers that may have made fights out of his hands? GGG will fight all takers and beat them down
