I said a while a go if this fight happens it would be Barraso by stoppage. I'm sticking with it.
Crolla can be as clever as he likes, if he gets rocked Barroso is taking him down.

Crolla UD, but wouldn't be surprised if he was to get a late stoppage.

Crolla has improved massively and can box smart, Barroso whilst heavy handed and does actually cut the ring off well is also very crude.

Crolla needs to get his jab going, control the distance and then when the opportunity does come go to the body. Take the engine away, sap the power then hopefully take him out !

I don't think Barroso is that great - Mitchell was so shot my nan could have put him away. He is powerful but extremley crude - think Anthony will outbox him after having to come through some stormy moments.

 

The last time a guy who fought on these shores who knocks people out with jabs it was kovalev, Barroso power is legit very legit.

Crolla by UD really don't understand the hype this Barosso lad is getting, I'd never heard of him till the Mitchell fight. Looked a solid heavy handed southpaw but nothing special.

 

I think Mitchell perhaps flattered Barroso but the Crolla fight will tell us more. To be fair I think his power is legit it's just how good his application really is. I'll tentatively say Crolla UD

 

Pretty much agree with that, but i think Crolla is better than he's given credit for, and Barroso caught a fading Mitchell at the right time.

I think Crolla will win wide, and maybe even force the TKO.

I think Barroso is better then being given credit for. He cut the ring off well vs Mitchell and looked fairly quick to me. Also wasn't fazed by Mitchell in the slightest.

I like Crolla, but Barroso looks better then Crolla's last opponent, I don't think he will be able to keep him off him.

Bodywork will be what he will look to work on Barroso and pot shotting imo using his movement. I have a feeling Barroso will end up walking him down if he cuts off the ring again well and will end up getting to Crolla

I think he's going to find it difficult though if he can't keep Barroso off him.

As much as I like Mitchell I think barroso s performance against him was slightly flattered as Mitchell always gets too involved and can always fall apart against a trigger happy crude guy. This is a different fight all together. Crolla will enjoy having him coming on to him with not much accuracy. Crolla can counter and tough it out inside. I don't think crolla looks as good against boxer and mover types due to his lack of power doesn't look as good on front foot. This is a 50/50 but styles wise made for crolla to edge it
