The last time we saw the "real" Adrien Broner was against Maidana.

That fight was great, not because big mouth Broner finally got beat, but because he was dropped twice and still fought to the end. All that fake shoulder roll went out the window.

Maidana was coming off of a knockout streak of tough chinned fighters and had been in tough fights with boxing's best. The fact that Broner went down and got back up when:

    Victor Ortiz quit
    Josesito Lopez was TKO
    Jesus Soto Karass was TKO
    Erik Morales was blind
Khan was running for his life
Floyd got stiff legged from a jab.

This is what arguably a 135 pound fighter was dealing with and he kept fighting. I hate that a lot of his fans and lackeys turned on him after the fight because Marcos is no easy night for anyone. Every division needs a MAIDANA in my opinion to weed out the weak.
That was the first and last time we saw the real Adrien Broner fight.:bbb

People hate him because he just wouldn't STFU. If you're going to talk that much trash you better be the elite of the elite.

He's an attention ***** loudmouth. He's not the type of a guy who inspires actual hatred. He's just annoying. All you want to do is say, "Please for the love of god, just STFU."

True but he had to market himself plus that is the real Adrien Broner. Main Events, Top Rank, and Golden Boy would kill for a guy who self promotes as much as Broner. He sold out all of his fights with ease. I checked for those D.C. Armory tickets, all gone.
Now only if he fought like he did that night all the time he would be the king.

The paulie fight exposed his defensive flaws, that should have been a sign to his handlers that he won by SD.

I was fully expecting that Maidana beatdown, Broner is the LW/LWW version of JCCJr.

He Lost to Ponce De Leon (Gift).
    He Lost to Quintero (Gift).
    He Lost to Malignaggi (Gift).
    He barely beat Taylor.
    Legit Lost to Porter.
    Legit Lost to Maidana.

If GGG had a record with that many debacles, he would have been written off even by his most ardent hardcore supporters.

If Golovkin faced 2 of these type of guys I would give him credit.

Lemieux, Monroe, Murray, Rubio, Macklin, Geale, Ouma, Rosado are all Malignaggi, Porter and Maidana level.

Name wise maybe not, but skill wise and quality wise easily.

I agree. People only want to hate on the guy but i saw the maidana fight differently. Broner showed that he wasnt just a loud mouth punk, but a down ass mo whose willing to go down swinging. He started to box after surviving the early onslaught, gave as much as he took.

Broner proved to be a real fighter that night.

So sick of the fake shoulder rollers. Maybe Broner's is a bit more crafted than Andre Bertos (HA!), but still, cut it out if you can't do it right.

Broner is irrelevant. He should be fighting other irrelevants like Khan.
