I'm going to give the nod to Valero of course by brutal 5th round KO ... both of these guys are fast and powerful ... I see this fight happening and possibly turning into a slugfest ... I don't know if Guzman's chin has been tested but it will be with a straight left to the chin by Valero ... I think that Valero's power would be more evident and he has underrated footspeed and movements and underrated agility.
I still dont know what people see in Valero? hes ok but no doubt in my mind that any elite fighter will stop valero...seen videos and im not too impressed. Hands down Guzman schools valero
guzman is levels above valero in terms of skill and ring adaptability. the only thing valero has is power and there is no doubt in my mind that he won't be able to use it against guzman. guzman will embarrass valero via ud wiide
Guzman is in a another stratosphere when it comes to boxing ability compared to Valero. Joan has a very good chin (I've never seen him stunned or hurt) and will easily outbox the slow, predictable Valero to a wide UD. Guzman WIDE UD
Guzman will be moving up to Lightweight now that he has vacated his belt. But if the fight did come off, Guzman wins it clear (late ko/tko or wide UD).
Honestly Valero is all hype, the man has no head movement, footwork, limited boxing skills and fights unbalanced! Guzman by late stoppage/UD.
Guzman's chin has been tested by Jorge Barrios, a monster puncher, and is extremely solid. Valero has basically fought nothing but journeymen so far. He is not on Guzman's level at all.
Guzman TKO after a brutal beating, as people have said I can't see anything in Valero that would trouble Guzman bar his power, but as already said his chin has been tested and I don't think he's been dropped in his career yet,
I hope this fight comes off to prove you guys wrong .... with his speed, agility, movement, and power ... he will give an elite fighter trouble ... and like I saide before - Guzman's chin hasn't been tested. I'm sure that Valero will tighten up for this challenge ...
