just done a bit of research on Ronnie Clark, he's certainly done his rounds with managers, coaches and promoters

coaches: lex Easton, billy nelson, david mc Alistair, now with a Dundee coach?
Managers: norrie sweeney, billy nelson, tony lindie, tommy Gilmour
promoters: Norrie Sweeney, tommy Gilmour, tony lindie
Boy this lad is up there with the best, all in 20 fights where is this lads loyalty, seemingly lacks this ingredient?

 

Norrie and Tony are the same was sweeney promotions. Again Ronnie has not had a promotional deal just managers which most fighters change.. Ronnie's long term trainee from Kickboxing was Lex unfortunately Lex moved to Australia so he switched to Billy.. Billy made promises which he could not keep abd struggled to get him fights as he has admitted.. I've explained the situation.. Ronnie's current trainer is David Mcallister who is right behind what Ronnie decides to do.. All trainers will admit that it is hard with all the travelling he has to do and a lot of the time Ronnie is training alone or travelling to try and get the best sparring.. His contract is up with Tommy who has not got him the right fights. He's been on the road constant. Ronnie just wants to fight. He needs a manager who will now get him the right fights to give him the best opportunity to win a British Title. As for trainer in my opinion he needs to find someone who is a good fit to his training patern.

 

Not burst my hole Lewis is the fighter is nothing to do with you. He's the talent your just the trainer.. There is loads of trainers that can do what you do. Same as Ricky was/is the talent.. I checked with the WBC he won the silver belt.. You are right it doesn't matter what the belt says it's just really a masters belt.. In saying that I hate punters getting ripped off and billing it as a World Youth Title is just not true.. Belts are for holding your trousers up.. fighting the best in your division is what proves you as a fighter abd is what I would like to see

the Dundee trainer is an amateur trainer who has always been there, his pro trainers have been lex who moved away, Billy who Ronnie just dislikes basically and makes that obvious , and Davie Mcallister who is still involved. Managers he's had Sweeney promotions managing him and Tommy. That's it. Billy ain't no manager , the guy couldn't manage a diet never mind a fighter. Clueless

 

I wouldn't feel the need to justify any "investigation" carried out by blueseaofibrox. The boy didn't know who Josh Taylor was until about 2 weeks ago.

 

Would MGM not sign him and try and get him decent fights? They seem to sign everyone else.

You don't even have a fighter who is at British level. Brophy is a sacrificial lamb for Groves and the others are fighting nobodies.
