"Can you guarantee you will pass a brain scan?"

"I saw that fight against Vitali..."

Haye just owned him there- no need for the fight. Its not like Briggs would even be sanctioned to fight in the UK anyway

I feel sorry for you. Your brain has failed you yet again. Briggs ranking is a joke, he's not fought anyone worthy of holding such a ranking in a number of years.

Look up the rankings of the people he's fought since taking that one sided beating from Vitali. Go on, make a fool of yourself. He's been can crushing whilst holding out for that one final payday but has convinced idiots like you he still has something to offer at world level by shouting 'I'm in shape!'. Get in the ****ing sea.

Hopkins has consistently fought top level opposition over the course of his career, he hasn't had a 6 year break fighting no hopers since his last meaningful fight and has picked up good wins in that period so that comparison is as ridiculous as most of the rubbish you spray over these boards.

The fact Briggs may not get a license to fight in the UK at all says it all.

Haye was totally relax as he was against Chisora provocation before he smash and glasses him.Even swiss opponent toke that old**** for a morron.

  8. You sound challenged, first you say he hasn't had a good win in ages, then act like he'll fail a brain scan due to his age and now you're saying he hasn't fought any worthy of his ranking.

Meanwhile Haye hasn't fought anyone of any real value since he got destroyed by Wladimir, over 6 years ago, but you forget that.

Or you gonna tell me fighting mark demori who learned boxing in his garage at home is more credible than fighting a former world champ?

Or this polish Cosco worker Pavel Gjejgra a top ranked HW?

You really are as thick as they come. What part of that couldn't you understand? You think he's worthy of his ranking then I take it. He hasn't had a meaningful fight in 6 years. He hasn't won a meaningful fight in a decade. I, like any other sane boxing fan think he has nothing left. If he did he would have fought better comp in recent times. Simple as.

As for Haye, you're right - for once - Briggs is the type of guy he loves to feast on, a falsely highly ranked contender who poses no threat, much like Aussie doorman and to a lesser extent random Albanian. Expect to see this fight get made soon - if Shannon can pass his medical that is. Then when 'The Cannon' gets badly beaten up, you'll have to come back with a new username to hide behind.

I think Haye's next opponent is very poor but has a good chance of beating this version of Briggs. That's how shot I think he is.

  10. You know Mr Tumble? Well get your parents to sign you up to appear on his show because that's what you need right now.

There's a lot of fighters not worthy of their ranking, the point is Briggs is officially ranked in a high position, while you're there pretending as if he's some on the fringes of boxing, running exhibition shows and brawling outside night clubs for a living.

I'm not saying Briggs would beat haye, I'm saying he poses more of a risk than this gjejuju clown who haye will blast out within a round.

I like Haye but he isn't doing himself any favours for his credibility taking this fight over briggs, who'd have brought far more interest and made for a more entertaining fight.

I don't partake in fanboyism, so I don't need to go running anywhere, I tell it how it is and Haye is fooling the public once again

Briggs would provide far more durablility, has a reason to be in the ring and will provide more of test than fighting another amateur bum with a padded up unbeaten record that will fool those who don't know any better.

Yawn. I think Briggs should have retired after the Vitali loss. He's done nothing since to prove he shouldn't have and I'll stand by that opinion. He doesn't have any business near the top end anymore and might get seriously hurt if he does talk himself into a fight with a world class fighter.

I've agreed with you that Haye has selected a poor opponent, I just think its ridiculous to say that Briggs brings anything more to the table than name value and WWE style trash talking he won't be able to back up. His desperation is sad to see.

Now if you want to ask me who I would have put Haye in with that's a different question.

The only people that don't want to see Haye fight Briggs are the fanboys that don't want their hero exposed for the fraud he is by getting koed by old man Briggs

  14. They'll say anything to convince themselves that briggs is in no shape or has no credibility to fight haye, even though their boy is chopping down on eastern european construction works and home trained DIY boxers.
