Official: David 'Hayemaker' Haye vs Arnold 'Cobra' Gjergjaj on May 21st

Dont mention Briggs,please! The old geezer is totally shot and hasnt beaten anyone with a a positive record since he was beaten black and blue by Vitaly ages ago.
I am not happy with Haye's next opponent as I dont see the point in taking on someone like Gjergjay who plays more or less in De Mori 's league.Germany's Wallisch also got offered a contract to fight Haye in London.According to the news he accepted that offer.I dont understand why the hell Haye is fighting the totally harmless Swiss based Albanian Gjergjay instead of Wallisch who is surely a step up from De Mori.The German would be a much tougher test than Gjergjay but without being too dangerous a threat to David.
I dont want to sound too harsh on David as he had been out of ring for quite a long time.Just stupid to expect him to take on someone like Ustinov in his second outing since his return! However,Gjergjay is a poor choice for his second fight since his reture.
Briggs? Pah! Even Gjergjay deserves a better paycheck than that living zombie.At least the Albanian has beaten Bakhtov.A far better opponent than Briggs has seen inside the ring since he got beaten by Vitaly.

 

Wallisch never had a offer. He just tried to talk himself into a big fight.

Garbage fight and unless Haye still shaking off rust it's obvious he is trying to cash out on a big payday by taking 0 risk and just waiting for the big payday to come calling. Not a good sign.

 

Gjergjaj is the best of three opponent Haye choose.

Briggs is too old and if you compare his opponents after Vitaly fight,Gjergjaj has a much better quality of opposition with a great win against drugged Bakthov. Deontay Wilder wanted to defend his belt against Gjergjaj three month before so he's a good opponent.


Michael Wallisch is the second german Steffan Kretchman , so the new german bum, he proves nothing until now ,he is the shell of de mori at his best.Completely a tomato can.

Gjergjay's best scalp is Bakhtov,an old and shot version of Bakhtov.I guess just a handful of years ago the Russian would have slaughtered than Swiss-Albanian within 6 rounds.
As for Wallisch he looked clumsy,mediocr,slow and less than stellar in his last victory over a very limited journeyman.However,he has shown and proved that he can bang and take a good punch.His fight with Saglam was better than anything I have seen so far of Gjergjay.
Dont get me wrong! David is head and shoulders above Wallisch and Gjergjay,but Wallisch would have been the better choice . David will wipe the floor with the little known Albanian and take him out within the first 3 rounds.I very much doubt that Haye would have taken Wallisch out of action that quickly.Whats more Wallisch has a good chin.Would have been the perfect fight for David: have some rounds in the ring,a live opponent for 3-4 rounds,and a late tko or ko.Gjergjay? An easy ko victory for Haye within the first few rounds.Just another victim!
Briggs doesnt deserve a bigger paycheck so that I rather see the totally harmless Albanian collect the check than the old geezer.However,Wallisch would have been the best choice IMO.

Wallish is the copy past of Steffen Kretshman : the big powerfull german without hart and proud. I was happy that David Haye doesn't choose this bum.I'm sure that shoot Dereck Chisora can knock him down in one round.

Last week,i already saw gjergjaj bakthov fight and i was impressed by this guy.First of all he had the capacities to reverse situation indeed he was knocked down by a shot in right ear who imbalanced him but he shows a big heart and come back to the fight.At european level,he's not even bad,in fact a lot of moron fans of boxrec statistics never shown the fights against Wawrzyk and Charr.In these fights bakthov outboxed those guys and were stolen in poland (he knocked down wawrzyk two times) and injured in germany.What it strange is the fact that charr and wawrzyk had world title shots.

To come back to gjergjaj,he has a powerfull left hook and not a bad ring science.He has a big heart and i'm sure that he will be a good challenger for Haye before fighting Joshua.

As for Bakhtov I ve seen quite a lot of his fights either live or on tv.Your compatriot fought a shot and old version of Bakhtov.As I said in another post a few years ago that teak tough journeyman from Russia would have wiped the floor with your boy.The version of Bakhtov who fought Samil Sinan Sam for example.
Wallisch? Which of his fights have you seen? Only his last lame victory over that no-hoper from Croatia? Or have you seen other fights of him?
My point is that Wallisch is slightly better than your boy and would have been a better choice for Haye.First of all he would have been able to go more rounds with David.I guess your boy will find himself in the ring dust within the first 1-3 rounds.
Wallisch has a good chin proven in his intruiging encouter with Saglam.
Secondly,he is German.Haye would have made some waves in the German media.Who cares for a Swiss based Albanian apart from nutty compatriots like you??
Anyway! David will wipe the floor with Gjergjay as he would have done with Walllisch.The outcome would be the same but Wallisch would have gone more rounds and given David some badly needed rounds inside the ring.
