two top russians amateurs turn pro within a week

    Yep! He can be quite easily outboxed by skilled elite fighter.However,he always a threat to any opponent due to his firepower.
    I can still remember his fight with Muzaffer from Turkey.Their encoutner took place on Turkish soil.It was the eureopean olympic qualification tournament.Dauhaliavets badly hurt his Turkish opponent.The ref made a big fuss,interrupted the fight at once and gave the Turk plenty of time to recover.Dauhaliavets still hurt the Turk with every connected punch.Under pro rules the Turk would never ever have been able to go the full route.Alas,under the amateur rules he did go the full route,threw some punches which couldnt crack an egg,and won the fight with one or two points ahead.Dahualiavets would have slaughted that Turk under pro rules that night.
    I didnt watch his fight with Ward.As I said he can be outboxed.Ukraine's Gvozdyk did outbox him twice or three times.He also had a close fight with Bivol.
    He would be a very good pro,but not an outstanding one.He is a bit too one-dimensional and a littel bit slow.Anyway! He has a big heart,a big punch,and a great chin.

    i remember that qualifying tournament it was a farce, joe ward got beat by muzaffer, 18-15. on video ****ysis it showed ward outlanded him 35-12:lol:. the turks were robbing everyone blind. and ward who beat mekhontsev when he was 17 missed out on an olympics he could have easily won gold in

    id like to see him pro and that 56kg guy

    ya his top notch i think , although adam nolan of ireland holds a win over him

    very unfortunete for the russians. they have a few fighters who qualified for the olympics but wont go as another russian has qualified too

    and many of these guys are made for the pros, Armen Zakaryan and Aleksei Egorov are both apb world champions and have fought over 12 rounds and petr Khamakov and Buteav were both excellent in the wsb

    it looks like aiba will keep zakaryan and egorov in the am's fighting in apb which is a very good sign for apb boxing if it hopes to grow as a brand

    Sorry to say but he doesn't know a lot about GGG, Gena was noted from the very beginning. Internationally he wasn't noted for a long time, but in KZ he was quite well known among boxing specialists. He was wining youth championships, in 2003, if I remember date correctly, he won world youth championship.

    Soylibayev and Eyyubov are quite interesting fighters. Others are promising haven't showed a lot in pro yet. Madiyar has shown good boxing in WSB and has good chances to succeed.
