Stand out for the sounds like it was Lee McGregor from Meadowbank ABC beating a very handy southpaw in Ryan McCutcheon.

One to watch by the sounds of things...

I heard Ryan McCutcheon got a gift over Jack Turner in the qualifiers.

Yeah he did, Turner boxed a very disciplined fight.

Lee Mcgregor, Reece McFacdden and Robbie Mckechnie were the 3 standouts from the Scottish finals.

Wonder when McFadden will turn over. He's been criminally overlooked/ignored by the GB Podium lot.

Never heard of the McKechnie lad, what weight is he?

Yeah they seem to prefer Muhammad Ali over Reece, it is a shame. He must be thinking of turning over if the Olympics is out the equation.

Robbie was a top junior/youth who lost his form. He was part of GB for a bit. Mark Mckeowan beat him in their last year as youths. In 2013 in his 1st year as a senior, Mckechnie got to the Scottish final but was stopped by Charlie Flynn. He seems to have matured a lot. He has a very classic boxing style with decent power.

He boxes at 64kgs, not big at the weight though.
