Weight is important but Floyd should not come too heavy. There is a blueprint to defeat GGG, Floyd is capable of doing it, but details can't be discussed on forums :nono

we will never know as floyd is retired and is not coming back to face anyone as good as GGG. IMO GGG would get the TKO.

    Floyd is waiting for:
    Pac vs Bradley
    Canelo vs Khan
    GGG vs Wade

When these 3 fights are resolved, #50 fight will be made, one fight at a time

From Floyd POV, GGG 70" reach makes this a winnable fight (which is not safe enough for Floyd, but if the reward is high he will take it)

    :patsch Utter Nonsense !!!

    Floyd doesn't need a PAYDAY...

and other than $$$ that $$$ Floyd has nothing to gain by losing to GGG.

    :p GGG is

    1. bigger than Floyd

    2. much more powerful than Floyd

    3. younger than Floyd

    4. at his prime

 And Floyd couldn't depend on winning on the scorecards.

    Floyd wouldn't go the distance.

    ;)

Based on what, I understand thats your feelings/guess, but you have to base your opinion on something more solid/scientific :patsch

The thread has a basis, Floyd always outboxes boxers (including HOF) with shorter reach

    GGG never faced
    • Undefeated Ranked fighter
    • Undefeated Champion
    • Undefeated HOF
    • Undefeated ATG

Still GGG is already on the verge of securing his HOF spot, based on the historic 15-0-0-0 (KO 15) title defense KO streak.

Its true that this fight will not harm GGG/Floyd legacy, because the winner will just move up on the ATG ranking, while the defeated maintains his ATG standing. (Floyd is old/small, while GGG loss will be dismissed vs a fighter who can't be defeated)

GGG on his part needs to clean up 160 & keep the title defense KO streak, this fight will hand Floyd more $ than any past fight & for GGG its a safe low damage fight, it will not harm him physically to get outboxed by Floyd who simply has a longer reach than him & high level precision :think

Thomas Hearns had a chin/stamina stigma, while Floyd has excellent chin/stamina

As of today Floyd is a slight favorite & time is not exactly on GGG side, even at 50 Floyd will still have a 72" reach & GGG will have a 70" reach

DLH best ATG score is at 135, putting him at Welter is unfair to his legacy

GGG would dislocate Floyd's shoulder the first time he's on the ropes.

Floyd doesn't need Golovkin, he is already a top atg and a millionaire.
