STILL no blame laid at the door of the REAL culprits Of Nick Blackwell

    All week all I been reading these smearing articles dogging The Eubanks implying that both he and his daddy didn't care about his well being, fans saying that Snr didn't really help and that they were only focused on winning even though they were the ones who saved that boys life. Eubank was tapping on the canvas calling for the ref to stop the fight and jr from refraining from hitting his head.

    We even have someone here say that fans are to blame for what happened to that kid because they expected both fighters to maintain their unbeaten recrods

    Meanwhile BJS, Tyson Fury and Gary Lockett get a free pass. Completely forgetting that BJS and tyson frury both incited what happened, they shoved the title in eubanks faces during intro and Tyson whipping the crowd with his clown antics..... no big deal you say?

    Wrong, the effects of that was that the crowd wanted blood that night , same as Benn and mclellan , the crowd wanted blood because of the actions before the bell , it influenced the referee and commerces into letting the fight to continue far past a safe point , injury or not Blackwell was taking a beating a complete pounding , he was out of his depth and everyone knew it , but bjs made the whole situation transpire to another level which took all concerns away , and egged on his boy so hard that Blackwell was never gonna back down.

    After 6 rounds Blackwell should have been withdrawn , Chris jr was 5 levels above this journeyman and it was obvious even from round 1. Shame on you bjs and Tyson for enciting the bad blood and for putting your fellow stablemate in such a blood crazed situation of which he could not win , those actions made the fight go much longer than it should have same as what happened with Nigel Benn years ago.

    But let me tell you something, when you step in that ring with CEJ again, you're gonna feel the same pain that your boy felt, so you better get ready to STEP OUT!

    This is true. And BJS was even trying not to smile in the post-fight interview.

    David Haye would make Fury look like a donkey in the ring, btw.

    There's no one to blame, if it was stopped earlier, there would have been countless number of people of here complaining of an early stoppage, and saying that Nick would have caught CEJ in the later rounds

    I actually think the fans play a part in some of the blame also. At the time of the stoppage i m ashamed to admit i was shouting for the fight to go on. Even tho i knew he took a shellacking in there.

    You sometimes let the emotions take over. Think its a bit of a wake up call. As someone said in here its a job afterall for these guys. No one should be expecting people to go in their and die for the cause for example. In hindsight guys like spikes corner have done the right thing. They know when there guy has gave it his best and its time to retire them before you take a beating because the gulfs just too big.

    We re all guilty of turning on referees etc for what we call as british stoppages. But maybe it is for the best at times.

    I dont think anyones blamed eubank junior at all a lot have giving the pair of them a lot of credit. Fury etc are just backing their man. But hopefully some good comes out of it because looking back blackwell did take a shellacking in there with the uppercuts especially and yet not many were calling for the stoppage including myself. Sometimes forget that people can and do get hurt in there. Maybe time for everyone to use the head instead of the heart a bit more.

    Haye pulled out twice. Fury moved on to become lineal champ whilst Haye boxed Mark de Mori.

    People actually think Eubank Sr cared about Blackwell's health?
    This sport is kill or be killed he was saying go to the body so his son didnt gas and get caught late
    The only person is to blame is Blackwell's trainer he should have pulled him out he was taking a beating
    The ref would let it go on as long as he doesnt look too badly hurt, but it was up to his corner to say enough is enough

    Blackwell should have pulled out or the ref should have stooped it. the idea they both did a good job is comical the guy wasn't winning any of the rounds. there is a difference between being still in a fight and being to tough for your own good.

    no ones to blame, its a ****ing boxing match not a tickling contest, these things will happen from time to time, if you need someone to blame then go and watch a sport that has not got violence as a major part of it.
