i wouldnt say ortiz doesnt hit hard / its a different kind of power kinda like a george foreman type power or a john tate type heavy hands they call it :deal

 

Ortiz crushes the frenchman with ease, i'm not sure that Duhaupus has a better chin than Thompson and definitely not skill level, he only has speed and conditioning on his side in that match up.

 

Two guys I think have been overrated lately, but Ortiz is a different class.

 

Helenius was throwing his best at Duhaupas but just couldn't keep it up. Just seeing Ortiz have to put out that level of effort would be something new to see from Ortiz and worth it for this matchup.

This. I really think Wilder carried Duhaupas the last two rounds just to get some ring time. Ortiz on the other hand would show Duhaupas no mercy and finish it quick.

Ortiz is too good of a combination-puncher and has too good of power. He is undoubtedly the dark horse of his division.

Helenius had severe ligament damage to his shoulder, which had to actually be replaced, severely damaged wrist and hands, in addition to cease training for almost 1 1/2 years or so.

He never fully recovered from the injuries that he suffered prior to the Chisora match and so look at him before the Chisora match to today and there is the answer.

From what I've heard, Helenius re-injured his hand against Duhaupas.

Ortiz stops this guy in my opinion.

 

Helenius was never that great in my opinion. Just a good solid European level fighter. He has had several years of inactivity since his prime.
