Exactly. You can't beat an excellent fighter with 400 fights standing there and jabbing from the middle of the ring. Wade has no special effects, no big punches, average size and speed, and very little big fight experience...

but, the threadstarter is half right. he's a little underrated. I think he's a half-step better than Lemieux or Monroe.

The thread says Dominic Wade statistical advantages over GGG

Its speculating...nothing more, if GGG goes 16-0-0-0 (KO 16) in consecutive title defenses, he removes the lack of undefeated opponent flag out of his opposition

If GGG loses the KO streak vs Wade (by L or Decision), then it shows that GGG is not good enough to overwhelm Undefeated title challengers

Wade wins if he hears the final bell regardless of result, he will be known as the man who ended GGG 15-0-0-0 (KO 15) historic world record streak

If he becomes #16, we know GGG can do this to Undefeated challengers :think

Your Intuitions/feelings are not backed by facts

GGG never faced an Undefeated title challenger, so this really the first time & we will see if he can KO Wade. It could get worse than that, because Wade is not ready to lose at all :think

The 15-0-0-0 (KO 15) title defenses were vs mentally dented opponents who already accepted defeat as part of boxing...Which plays into the hands of every power puncher :think

Wade is also an inch taller

So he's taller, heavyer, and with a considerably longer reach

    Also ten years younger

    Bring in the excuses already

    Good post.

Yeah, respect to Wade. This is a huge step up in class for him. I'd like to think it will be competitive.

Golovkin fought a lot of game opponents. I disagree with you. He was matched with dudes like Khomitsky when he was but a pup. GGG is not strictly a power puncher. He has great power yes, but he is primarily a boxer. His basics are very very good.
