I've always seen this as kind of a Coetzee-Spinks replay. I think Joshua blows him out, drops him three times, stops him in a round.
After watching the last fight of both fighters again, I stand by my prediction. Joshua will unfortunately be KO'd. Joshua thinks this will be Tyson vs Berbick 2. Joshua is no Tyson, Nobody will be like Tyson again, he was trained by a master from an era that knew what it was doing when it came to boxing, the last trainer of that ilk was Manny Steward. But the main difference is Tyson had something like 30 fights where his management brought him through skillfully to learn the correct skillset he needed to be an indestructable wrecking machine for 3 or 4 years of prime Mike's career until he got bored and lost to Douglas (perfect timing for Douglas) Martin is a COUNTERPUNCHER. But even more than that he is COUNTERPUNCHER with a lot of power. This spells disaster for Joshua, that and the fact Martin is a southpaw. Joshua doesn't have the skillset to overcome Martin's style at the moment, especially when every one of his fights he was able to bulldoze his opponents, with the exception of Whyte, but even in that fight Whyte was able to stun Joshua. Whyte was overvalued, I don't think he will amount to much, Martin on the other hand is undervalued. There is a big upset in the makings tomorrow. Saying all of this I am going to make just one caveat. As I said in the original post the one thing Joshua really has going for him is his tremendous power, it's enough that may KO Martin, it all depends on if Martin sticks to a game plan to bring Joshua to deep waters and counters the whole night, if he does, it's lights out for Joshua
I think Joshua wins but I feel like it's going to be Joshua Early or Martin Late. So I'm going Joshua inside 5, but if it goes past 5 rounds I think my prediction goes badly wrong.
I think Joshua is going to blow his nut early, if that happens and Martins still staring him in the face, Martin could get a late stoppage.
That could happen, Joshua is talking like he is coming out blasting, if Martin survives that (and thats the question) then you could be bang on the money. There is always the chance Joshua comes out full of emotion, caught up in the crazy British atmosphere, gets wild and walks on to a counter, it could be Martin early This is a great fight because I don't mind admitting although I've gone with Joshua we just don't know that much about each fighter.
Also can't count out the possibility of a British KO. Martin gets rocked and takes a knee and the ref calls it with Martin standing up again and going "Wtf mate?"
For me though this fight is still 50/50 could go either way but the slight advantage is Martin. The Wilder Vs Povetkin fight is a different story... that one I have no doubt Wilder will win quite easily.
Both land at the same time and get dropped at the same time. You heard it here first. This happens in the second round.
Yes I am making a prediction, as stated previously in original post and in the last one I made I predict Martin KO I am only saying these 2 fighters are evenly matched in terms of skill. But one style favors the other. Joshua's power is the equalizer. But saying all that Martin by KO is my thought. It wouldn't surprise me though if Joshua KOd Martin. If you want a prediction from me that I have 0 doubt, that's not possible in this fight because Martin is still very much a dark horse. For a fight I am 100 percent certain. Wilder will KTFO Povetkin. No doubt, in this fight Martin vs Joshua, I am 50 50 on.
Wlad couln't even stop Povetkin, but somehow Wilder will? Yeah ok Alt. You must be from the US, considering you're backing both wilder and martin.
Wilder will destroy Povetkin, there is no doubt in my mind. Wladimir was an overated fighter lucky to reign in the worst heavyweight division in history for 10 years. A divsion where journeymen like Tony Thompson can fight for the title 2x.... pathetic. WILDER WILL DESTROY POVETKIN EASILY. Remember that prediction As far as my Joshua prediciton, it has nothing to do with nationality, I like Joshua A LOT... I think he is a great fighter with great potential, but read why I think he will lose this fight in my most recent post.. I am looking at the fight in an ****ytical way. You unfortunately probably see fights in a nationalistic way
