Hardly. It's not a "GH guy" as moronic idiots here will say. Any lifters here will know that your stomach naturally becomes distended after simply eating a carb heavy meal or consuming some liquids. The "GH gut" is largely caused by a combination of heavy insulin and HGH use. Saying that, I'm not doubting AJ uses growth hormone but that's not a symptomatic "GH gut". It's totally normal.
That's because you don't know ****. Anyone that has worked with bodybuilders know this boy is juiced up to the sky, just from observing his torso. Over developed, unbalanced arms, and out of place, untrained chicken legs. At just 26, just look at a some photos from the past couple years, and the transformation from skinny kid to virtual body builder physique is obvious as Alistair Overeem's transformation who was eventually done for roids in the UFC. You don't gain over 20lbs of muscle with no bf increase, doing boxing enduranace cardio and plymetric based training which burns muscles. That simply does not happen naturally, no matter how many hours spent in the gym, no matter how many kilos of protein consumed in a day. Beating drug tests is a part of every elite level sport, some more than others. But especially in a division of a sport that is a bit sp**** in competition, doping agencies are not in the business of destroying profits. Hell, in most sports, you're even allowed to skip out on 1 or 2 tests a year.
To be fair he did say "sometimes bodies do win fights". Not "Bodies Always Win Fights". You could also add Pavlik vs Miranda as an example of bodies NOT winning fights. Pavlik looked like a groundskeeper that played golf while Miranda was shredded.
Martin obviously could have been in better shape, he's probably around 20% bodyfat, looks like a casual gym goer rather than a pro athlete. What I saw of him in training as well showed that physically he's well below what you'ed expect from a pro athlete, but luckily for him boxing is more about skill, being a better athlete alone is not the deciding factor. Joshua looked imposing as always, lighter than he has been for a while, so clearly he's trained hard for this fight, as his visible 8 pack confirms. He's at 8% body fat at the very most, so in reality despite the similar weights, he's the far bigger man in terms of lean mass. If Martin was as lean as Joshua he'd probably weight as low as 215lbs or so, so clearly Joshua will be much stronger of the two.
Martin looks in pretty decent shape. 245 means he trained seriously. It's gonna be an interesting fight as long as Joshua doesn't catch him with something big early.
