Just for the record David Brophy is totally gutted by his performance, he will learn from this experience and hopefully become a better fighter because of it.
It was always going to be a hard fight but one David was willing to take, as I say he's been beat by a world class fighter who's been on the big stage many times and will learn from it

Groves proved he is on a different level but it would've said more about Brophy if he didn't take the fight

That fight was no way a win win situation for brophy who wants to fight him worth while he really is a nobody in the sport and showed that last night. it was embarrassing I thought he was getting took out in the first round. He showed absolutely no skill whats so ever he only showed what its like to take a jab in the face. any trainer that allows their boxing to look **** scared for 4 rounds need to go back and look at himself, they've took that fight purley for money

That performance from brophy was an embarrassment, no glory in getting beat up just for the money, looks like another chancer to me. Don't bother about giving the public a good fight naah just take the money and run. The dude just stood there with his gloves welded to his dome, not even throwing anything. He didn't try so he shouldn't get paid. Reminded me of the farce that was Audley Harrison vs David Haye...
