Fuking embarrassing reading a desperate argument between trainers about BUM boxers that nobody gives a single fuk about. Brophy is going to be swiftly KTFO by Groves and nobody gives a flying fuk about Ritson and Clark.

listen I get on great with David McAllistair I help him out at any turn I can including for Ronnie, David was that impressed by Lewis he said to myself and Lewis he thought he'd beat Josh, so your ex coach must have seen something him!!!

 

Hi mate, not sure I said that exactly!! I'm pretty sure I said I would love to see the fight and that Lewis had impressed me in sparring but don't recall saying he would beat Josh Taylor.

I'm also not saying that Josh beats Lewis more so just the fact that Lewis is a big Lightweight but last time I saw Josh he looked a big Light Welter so I really don't see how they will ever meet especially in the near future. I do think Lewis is good enough to challenge for domestic honours and possibly more if he carries on learning and improving and would like to see him get an eliminator for the British pretty soon and see him make a challenge on the British title.

We do get on well mate and you know that the sparring works both ways and if you need it I would help you just as you are willing to help my boxers out.

 

Where is the desperate arguments? Imo no fighter is a BUM as you call it and I would hazard a guess that you have never been in a ring because if you had you would never call a boxer that goes into the ring sober against another boxer with the intent of hurting each other!! Show some respect mate

Also if you don't want to read posts about boxers that nobody cares about then don't open the threads and read through them. Pick out the threads with boxers that you are interested in and read them!!

 

This is pathetic behaviour by some who are well respected in the sport.
Regardless of a fighters standing in the game, they should be shown respect for what they are - professional fighters - something that most of us on here can only dream of (and we do)
Opinions are like a.s.s holes - we all have them & more often than not they're full of s.h1te....
Good luck to Brophy & all involved , like wise to Groves for that matter... Ditto for all the other kids mentioned, quit the nonsense lads..!

 

For once I was right hope Brophy takes the positives from this and rebuilds domestic level

i know power is not everything but you still need some snap in your punches to keep and opponent off and i don't think Brophy has that. result was what we all thought would happen

 

Its not his promotional company the 3 of them that were on the news are a front for it non of their names are on companys house records.

billy has never had the same gym always moving around or getting rid for cash. Who the fack would want to train with that.

Anyone in their right mind would stay well clear of it and blobby nelson he's a total embarrassment to Scottish boxing. Desperate fighters must need the money and blobby must be spinning the yarn to them about how they can be the next ricky burns under him.

And anyone spouting the stuff they do on here about billy has to have some truth in it.
