Ok so looking at the rankings theres only so many options it could be.

The rankings before last night were

    1. Vacant
    2. Vacant
    3. Teper
    4. Joshua
    5. Takam
    6. Parker
    7. Vyacheslav Glazkov
    8. Kubrat Pulev
    9. Derek Chisora
    10. Andy Ruiz
    11. Bermane Stiverne
    12. Robert Helenius
    13. David Haye
    14. Dominic Breazeale
    15. Jarrell Miller

All have fights lined up expect for.....

    Teper
    Stiverne
    Breazeale

So it will more than likely be one of these 3 realistically.

At the end if the day if theres only 3 guys in the top 15 available then we cant complain who it is. Better than waiting 6 months to fight someone slightly better.

What's the situation with Teper after the failed drugs test...I assume there was no ban or anything?

I hope the Parker fight gets done. Aside from Fury or Haye, that's the one that excites me.

Stiverne is with Don King. Can't see this fight being made.

    Teper would be incredibly dangerous.

    Ruiz would make most sense.

If AJ fights the Parker/Takam winner at the end of the year then I don't really care who he fights next, preferably not Malik Scott though.

Malik Scott is making some noise.

I can see Miller or Stiverne. Miller is unbeaten and limited but he'd be cheap.

    Where's Scott ranked?

He's not in the top 15 so a voluntary isn't an option against Scott.

Like I say there's only 3 guys who don't have conflicting fights scheduled.

Parker/ takem mando isn't due until January. I'd say have 2 voluntary defences in July and October then mando in jan.

    My money is Stiverne

If Chisora beats Pulev thatll deffo be the fight that gets made but not for July he wont be ready after fighting Pulev in May

Thatll be October assuming they leave the mando until January.
    Parker/Takam
    Chisora/Pulev
The 2 winners of these would be favourites as Joshuas next 2 fights after July.

Lots of possibilities for the end of the year and for Jan.

July is a little more clear as the options are very limited.

Breazeale could be an easy sell- fellow olympian, american, undefeated. Also shouldn't pose too much threat to Joshua.

    Might be expensive though...

Audley wasn't top15 either when the fight was already agreed on against Haye.
Pretty sure Scott magically appears in the next updated rankings

    teper is banned until 2017

hearn and AJ dont have many options, stiverne will cost bucks and is risky.

    breazeale seems to be free.

unless they wait it out and see what there options are once the chisora/pulev parker/takam fights are done.

hearn will want chisora but i doubt he beats pulev

Haye is all wrong for AJ, they'll avoid him.

I still find it odd that haye could quite easily beat the likes of AJ, wilder, fury and chagaev right now and yet he's fighting arnold gjergjaj???

a fight with wach wouldve made more sense
