Excellent tape. The date Sept 1973 means it was probably the Jean Claude Bouttier fight in France.

I have not seen this before. Monzon is somewhat comparable to Vitali Klitschko, as both like to lean back and counter.

I just never see good speed or dynamic power in Monzon

 

In 1973, Monzon was shot in the leg by his wife, which required 7 hours of surgery to remove the bullet from the Carlos Monzon's leg.

Not sure if the shooting was before the tape was made or not.
