This is the best argument I've seen defending AJ as the most talented. I agree with Outstocks take, (and also would throw in doing it all at a much greater size) but good argument nonetheless.
Definitely, the thing is though, Joshua and Wilder are both late starters. Joshua started at 18, Wilder at somewhere around 20 (and they went on to win olympics medals, that's quite impressive). Fury on the other hand, I'm not sure exactly when he started boxing but given that he's born into pretty much a boxing family and comes from that background, I'd assume very early. So that's a big factor too, just experience.
People use athletic as a synonim for fit, and fit as a synonim for jacked. that's why most people rank joshua>wildest>fury athleticism in that order. while in practice, Fury is the biggest of the three, both with weight and lenght, and still the one who's: faster have better stamina have better footwork and lighter feet have a more varied ****nal and better ring iq All things that are easy to be seen from video evidence. All evidences so far shows Fury as the most athletic of the trio, with Joshua in the second place and wilder..... throwing himself to the canvas missing a wild hook. Or windmilling like a complete spaz. Yeah, very athletic indeed.
Hughie fury whips them all on talent. That lad is going to be a beast. Such skills on a guy that tall etc. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Fury-Wilder Joshua-Parker Ortiz-Povetkin Those are the talent matches I'd like to see. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk
Tyson Fury isn't good, guys. We have to remember what he was before his fluke victory over Wlad, and why many didn't even give him a chance.
He was an inconsistent performer tracking upward with a load of obvious talent. Many didn't give him a chance because they weren't evaluating the fight properly. I'm a fan of Wlad's, and I gave Fury a big chance heading into it, I made a thread stating Fury was Wlad's biggest threat in years.
Fury has certainly proven more. But Joshua obviously looks better. He's improved tremendously (as have all 3 of these guys). I don't believe Wilder will pose a threat to either Joshua or Fury. He's the naturally smaller man with those skinny legs. I look forward to exciting fights involving Wilder (like Wilder-Povetkin) but can't see him becoming lineal champ barring a lucky punch, in which case he's lose the lineal championship quick. Fury has certain traits that are ideal for boxing while I think Joshua could have excelled at many other sports. Pure boxing talent edge to Fury, pure athletic talent edge to Joshua.
The only "athletic" area Fury could be more naturally talented in MIGHT be hand eye coordination. And thats debateable. Speed/Strength/Quickness/Explosive power/Hand eye coordination/agility These are the basic attributes of athleticism. Size is not athleticism. The ability to be athletic at a large size is great, but size itself is not athleticism. Fury is easily the least athletic of the 3. Not saying hes not athletic, but hes third here.
Now raw boxing talent, who knows. hard to seperate what is natural becuase Fury is so much more experienced. But as to who has the highest ceiling on potential, i think Fury is still third. However, potential is just potential. Doesnt mean he wont end up being the best of the 3.
I agree here, only thing is I'm not sure wlad even has it in his skills to actually attack fury who is in think longer and taller ? Wilder can certainly ko anyone, and I'd also pick him to clean fury and wlads heads right off. Joshua just has too much power, speed, accuracy and controlled aggression for fury or wlad to see past round 4 max. Down the road it's going to be exactly how I said years ago.. Joshua vs wilder, hopefully needing a triology. Not likely but I can dream
