Who has a better resume and who achieved more Duran or Leonard?

Why regress to name calling. Either refute my answer or leave me alone.

Not sure I buy into this 'smaller man' stuff. It seems like a cop out to justify a position on something.

Moving up in weight classes is a natural progression to some extent, how you progress through them is down to your ability and Duran is indisputably an ATG, but whilst he moved up in weight classes and managed to pick up paper titles at some higher weights I'm not so sure that would be seen as quite so impressive in the modern day if someone were to do it.

 

Thank you. Duran after 135 was nothing more than a high profile punching bag. He rushed up to 160 and fought Hagler for money not because he wanted to be great. Hagler was the only money fight in that division until Hearns-esq moved up and did the same ****. Leonard was smarter than the other 2.

I disagree here. Duran had quality victories here and though it was inferior to his lightweight reign, it was a Hall of Fame career in itself.

Though Sugar Ray Leonard was one of the greatest architects of a career , Roberto Duran was a fighters fighter and has the more impressive resume.
