I know, my point is that I find this level of thinking a bit backwards, he's unproven so he should take one of the riskiest fights to prove himself that I can actually even think of in the last decade, it doesn't work that way, it actually goes more the other way around, the more proven guys take on tougher challenges to prove themselves even further.

 

The fight sucks ass, I think they are playing it a bit too safe but there's a difference between saying things like "Oh GGG's not proven yet, he's still not faced an elite level guy to put him on his p4p lists" which I totally agree with, it's pretty much a fact, and calling him a coward and **** specifically for not fighting Ward, that's when I know people are full of ****.

 

I think "a bit too safe" is an understatement personally

I just think its kind of cowardly to call say "anyone at 168"...and attempt to make a fight with big chavez....and have your promoter mention big Ramirez....but then avoid ward while yer fans say "ward is too big"...."ward is irrelevant".....if ggg fans just admitted what you've said "ward is career suicide...hes too skilled and good"....then I prob wouldn't have a problem....but 90 percent of them make weak excuses and go around in circles contradicting themselves to give ggg a pass

I don't make excuses for canelo...ive admitted what hes doing isn't exactly right....I just said I could see how he feels like he can defend it at a cw since that's how he earned it.....I don't like what hes doing....but I knew that's how he was gonna run things and what he was gonna do so I urged ggg to make a sacrifice in order to further his career and stature....to enhance his legacy

cotto didn't need ggg for anything....cotto was in cashout mode....he knew there was no point in fighting ggg....he doesn't belong in there with him......if you think he does...then maybe pac should fight ggg too......

canelo will be fighting a well known fighter who has 1.5 mill twitter followers...and when hes done other well known fighters will be lining up to fight him
